The Position:
The Healthcare Credit Analyst will be a member of the Z Capital Credit Partners (“ZCCP”) team, underwriting and monitoring syndicated leveraged loans primarily in CLOs and stressed/distressed credits for the tactical fund.
Responsibilities will include:
Performing comprehensive bottoms-up research and analysis of company fundamentals and industry trends on new issue and secondary loans and monitoring existing CLO positions
Compilation of detailed credit memos including maintaining financial models for use across the portfolio
Providing timely updates to senior members of the team on financial results and developing credit situations
Candidate Requirements:
Healthcare experience highly preferred
5-8 years of total experience, including the completion of a two-year Analyst program at an investment bank (leveraged finance, restructuring, or M&A concentration) followed by buyside experience ideally at a CLO manager or a loan mutual fund
Broadly syndicated leveraged loan experience is required; knowledge of the CLO structure and stressed/distressed markets is highly preferred
